The Ting Tings. Bluebird Theater, St. Louis.

The drums, the drums, the drums.....As Flava Flav would say, “‘Ahhhh yeeahhh boyeee!!” It was night two at the Bluebird Theater in St. Louis. And you’d better believe The Ting Tings blew the ra ra roof off the joint. Yes, the temperature was that of the surface of the sun, but the twosome Ting were even hotter. I have to admit, when they played “That’s Not My Name,” I was on serious pogo-stick patrol. We hung outside for the first half of the evening, screening Antics T’s and playing Rock Band. There was this one dude who tried to cut in line to get a shirt, and when we politely informed that he would have to wait just a minute more, he said, “Forget it!!!” and stormed off. Of course ten minutes later, he called his friend who was still there and asked if he could pick him up a medium. Back inside the club, the sold-out crowd was moving and shaking (not unlike the earthquake in Los Angeles in July - what up home!). And after the show, everyone was so pumped that we just kicked it outside the venue until our eyelids said, “No mas.”

Forget It!
