Go Vote! It’ll be Mad Decent.
By Kyle Lemmon
Diplo and M.I.A. have licked their emotional and professional wounds and the latter is creating her own orchestra with a child. After you cast your ballot today, check out the beatsmth behind M.I.A.’s mixtape, Piracy Funds Terrorism. L.A.’s Echoplex will be sporting the proto-electro sludge and straight-up strafes from tropical punks Abe Vigoda, Boy 8-Bit, and Telepathe to start the night.
Celebrate your constitutional rights with some dopes beats and quick jabs to the inner lobes. Hopefully the election won’t be as bad as the 2000 and 2004 debacles. Of course not…right? Even if you’re favorite candidate loses, at least you’ll get to listen to some slick jams. Plus, don’t you want to know what kind of music that pizza guy makes on the poster? My money is on twee death metal.
