Dr. Dog. The Bluebird, St. Louis.
I’m going, going...back, back...to St. Louis, Louis. Well, technically, we already went. The Antics team reigned supreme once again, as we traveled down to St. Louis for another back-to-back night of music and fun. You know “Blackbird Singing in the Dead of Night?” Well, this was the Bluebird Theater, rocking in the late evening. On this night’s adventure, we were lucky enough to see the musical stylings of Dr. Dog (not an actual licensed doctor, but they play one on rock and roll stages). Dr. Dog infused some soulful rhythms and vocals, with some good old fashioned rocking, and a stellar stage presence. The clouds were crying that evening, so we set up our silk screening table inside. And, despite the fact that it was a million degrees in the club, being inside worked out very well in our favor. To get to experience the entirety of the good Doctor’s performance was a treat (p.s. I saw a big box of candy fall off of a semi the other day - made me think of Halloween, indeed). Stay tuned to hear about night two at the Bluebird Theater (one or more Tings may be involved...).
