Ditching the Gambling Tables in Vega$

There are times when even the most foolhardy gambler needs to step away from the gaming tables in Vegas. But the problem I found is: What else is there to do? You’re surrounded by slots, blackjack, poker, craps and other forms of temptation everywhere you look. What’s plan B? Well, luckily my friend Dean from Sin City pointed us in the right direction with the Boulder City banks. Seems that this little burg on the way out of Vegas toward the Hoover Dam needed to build a drainage system and at the same time decided to put in a jogging path, and legend has it, someone on the City Council suggested making it skate-able too as the town didn’t have a skatepark.

So the result is a lengthy run of banks and ditches along the main drag leading out of town that you can see from the road. And God bless them, it’s all downhill! We’re talking a virtual ditch wonderland here people with walls of all shapes, finishes and sizes. Check it out next time you’re down there.
