ARTIST TIPS: Top 5 Non-Holiday Activities During the Holidays, Nashville Edition by Tristen
Although most people are tranistioning from Holiday/vacation or a break of some sort, we understand that the usual festive happenings and activities get a bit redundant after a while. In fact, a lot of us tend to have Holiday traditions that are, well, not so "Holiday" themed. FILTER asked Nashville-based indie-folk rock artist, Tristen, to give us some tips to share with our readers for "non-Holiday activities" during "the Holidays". This is a Top 5 list she came up with, including picks from a Nashville staple record shop to an interesting pub.

4. Grimey's New & Pre-loved Music

One of the best record stores in the country, with an awesome staff & at night you can go downstairs to the Basement to see live music.

In east Nashville's Inglewood neighborhood, where I met my bass player Jordan Caress, has the finest cup of coffee in town & brews local Drew's brews beans!
1. Santa's Pub

And my current favorite hang this time of year & all year round is Santa's Pub. Two dollar beers and complete domination of the kareoke machine that plays seven nights a week. Bartended by Santa himself and his wife Mrs. Claus, who own and run this holiday heaven, you will likely find you and your friends and only a few others singing the night away in a Christmas themed double wide trailer.
