Abbot Kinney Music Festival Recap

image
A day well spent at the beach.  Does it get any better then that? Absofreakinlutely it does when it involves consuming harmonious live music and chili dogs all day long at the one and only Abbot Kinney Festival in Venice Beach.  All of us in the Antics crew arrived early to stake out the best spot in the house next to the Little Radio stage where all the action went down.  The locals flocked the streets of Abbot Kinney with their dogs in hand and beach cruisers in tow to catch memorable performances by Chief, Dios, The Parson Redheads, and Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros.  We ended up silk screening off tons of commemorative Abbot Kinney Festival posters and hooked it up with plenty of Antics swag and prize winning skate decks.  In the haze of nag champa and whirlwind sounds of drum circles, our thoughts were suddenly whisked away to our upcoming adventures next weekend in our neighboring city to the north, San Francisco. Be sure to swing by our official Antics after party for the Treasure Island Music Festival where the ever talented Dan Deacon, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros and Future Islands will be on stage to rock yer faces.
