Toyota and FILTER have teamed up for the 3rd year, setting the stage for a series of action-packed community-inspired events that include a mix of festivals, underground warehouse shows and neighborhood block parties, showcasing the 2010 Toyota Matrix, Corolla and Yaris models.
Toyota ANTICS connects with music, art, gaming and action sports lifestyle communities. This year Toyota ANTICS plans to hit the Forecastle (Louisville), Pitchfork (Chicago), Siren (NY), MFNW (Portland) and Fun Fun Fun (Austin) festivals, the Dew Action Sports tour (Salt Lake City), and Art Basel Art Convention (Miami), while producing stand alone events in various other cities including Los Angeles, Boston, Washington DC and Omaha, NE.
During the past two years, ANTICS has presented over 400 events, including both guerrilla style pop-up parties as well as festival activations during Noise Pop, Afro Punk, Lollapallooza, Bonnaroo, FunFunFun, Siren, Coachella, SXSW, All Points West, Treasure Island and Voodoo. VIP late night after parties have featured special guest performances by artists such as Ladytron, Miike Snow, MIA, Broken Bells, CSS, TV On The Radio, Cool Kids, Chromeo, Biz Markie, No Age, and Bloc Party.
Additional attractions include customize vehicles outfitted with classic 80’s gaming “arcade”, custom photo booth, silk screening stations, art exhibits, free music, and an amazing opportunity to enter for a chance to win a new Prius!
